WEST Park Green Bowling Club's Presentation Evening was held at the Allerton Catholic Club.

Both cups and trophies were presented to the winners of their club competitions, with prize money for the winners and runners-up.

These were also awarded to the best individual average scorers in their three district league teams.

The outstanding bowlers were Pauline Wilkinson, who had the best average in the District Veterans League Division Three and Audrey Healy, who was the winner of five and runner-up in one of the eight club competitions.

Presentations were made by president Jim Cutbill, who has held this role for over 15 years.

Refreshments were provided for members and guests who also took part in bingo and a raffle, with main prizes for these provided by club members. The Allerton Catholic Club kindly supplied an excellent venue for the event.

The bowling club welcomes new members, especially people that are new to bowling. Members of both genders are welcome.

All equipment can be supplied by the club if necessary. Outdoor bowling is available over the winter months at various venues in the area.
