STEETON bowed out of the West Riding County FA Cup second round tonight with a 5-2 defeat at Barnoldswick Town.
Former Silsden player Zack Dale gave Barnoldswick the lead but Andy Briggs levelled before the interval.
Andy Hill scored with a bullet-like effort straight after the break for Barlick, who then went 3-1 up with a penalty as Steeton’s Stevie Pearson was sent off.
The Chevrons went further behind and, though Toby Jeffrey pulled one back, Town added a fifth.
Liversedge also crashed out, losing 3-0 at Yorkshire Amateur.
Sedge were up against it after their keeper was sent off and Brice Tiani slotted home the resulting penalty before Ben Laycock put the hosts 2-0 up.
Leon Henry put the Ammers further in front.
