HOLDER Callum Wraight (Shrewsbury) and Andy Mitchell (Thornhill) are the latest qualifiers in the £5,300 Damart Brighouse Classic.
Both players dominated their three qualifying games, with Wraight beating Gareth Nicholson (Halifax) 21-8 in his final match, and Mitchell defeating David Scott (Silsden) 21-10.

Wyke A have won the Bradford Pairs Knockout 84-83 after a great final against Clayton A.
Matches were staged at West Bradford and Hove Edge, and it is hoped that there will be an increase in entries next year for an event that was in doubt due to low numbers.

Luke Teale has won a fourth Aire-Wharfe competition this season, lifting the Fred Morley Floodlit Pairs with Richard Stockdale.
They defeated Tom and Billy Cater 21-11 in the final at Shipley Club, and this crown is thus added to Luke's victories in the Ian Forder, Wilkie Smith Leading Lady and Rose Pairs competitions.
Teale and Tom Cater had already qualified for the Champion of Champions event on October 14, and will now be joined by Stockdale and Billy Cater.

Monday night qualifiers in the Raynor Floodlit Singles were Andrew Tate (Rufford Park) at Skipton BR and James Greenwood (Rufford Park) at Guiseley.
The Aire-Wharfe Association are running the Harry Wise Trophy on Sunday, September 30 at Eccleshill BC (10am).
Entry fee is £6 and this competition is only open to Saturday or Monday league Division Three and Four players who have played more games in those divisions than higher divisions.
The competition was postponed on July 29 due to flooding, and entries should be sent to mikejhall74@outlook.com or phoned to 07799-152083 or 01274-231837.
