BRADFORD Bulls have announced this afternoon that imposing prop forward, James Green, has put pen to paper on a one year deal with the Odsal side.
Originally joining on loan from Castleford Tigers at the start of July, the 6ft 6in powerhouse has made an impression during his tenure in Bulls colours, earning a full-time contract.
Warranting a starting position alongside Steve Crossley in the forward pack, the former Super League man has bagged two tries in seven appearances representing Bradford.
Head coach John Kear was delighted with the success of the deal, saying: “We are really pleased with him and he has come from Castleford for a fair period of time.
“We have had a good look at him, he’s had a good look at us and I think everybody will see he does add something to that middle channel and a bit of experience that we might have lacked.
“I think he compliments players like Steve Crossley very well because he is a different type of middle component.
“I am absolutely delighted that he has decided to commit himself to us for the next year, and we hope that it is in the Championship.”
