Guiseley will be going into the busy Bank Holiday weekend with a common-sense warning ringing in their ears.
They have enjoyed the perfect start with two wins from two games.
However, boss Terry Dolan said: "We have started well but it is only two games. There is no need to get carried away just yet."
Dolan is keen for his players to remain focused with a home game against Eastwood Town on Saturday and a trip to North Ferriby United, managed by Dolan's predecessor at Nethermoor Neil Parsley, just 48 hours later.
The Guiseley chief added: "James Hanson took a bang on his knee in the home win over Ossett Town last Tuesday and I hope it is not too bad to keep him out.
"With Marc Smith, it is still a case of wait and see. He has missed the first two games but could be involved."
Former Bradford City full back John Swift made his Guiseley debut as a second-half substitute on Tuesday. Another player who spent time at Valley Parade, defender Patrice Liburd, has also joined Nethermoor.
"They are both good players who will bring fresh qualities to our squad," added Dolan.
"John came on for the last ten minutes on Tuesday and Patrice comes into the reckoning this week after signing for us.
"We know it is a tough weekend and we have hard games but it is the same for everyone else.
"All the clubs face two games in three days and, in this division, none of them will be easy."
