BECKFOOT School pupil Isabella Crooks has qualified for her third major table tennis championship of the winter.
The 12-year-old from Eldwick plays in the English Schools' National Championships in Wolverhampton on Saturday, and has also reached the Inter-Regional National finals on May 12-13, representing Yorkshire, and the English National Championships on June 16-17, also in Wolverhampton.
Ranked 38 in England among under-13 girls, Isabella qualified at Wakefield three weeks ago in the Yorkshire Regional Tournament by finishing runner-up to Northallerton's Rebecca Savage, ranked in the top ten in England, by 9-11, 11-9, 11-9, 14-12.
Previously, Isabella had won four of her five singles.
The National Championships in june are restricted to the top 48 in each category.
