Thackley's Dennyfield ground at Ainsbury Avenue will be the venue this week for a new tournament the club have organised to run on an annual basis to honour the memory of Arthur Hylton.
One of the function rooms at the clubhouse is named after the man who came to play for the club in 1930 and took on the role of club secretary four years later.
He held that position until 1970 and, following his death last May, the club decided they wanted to do more to honour him.
In association with their sponsors Acorn Conservat-ories, they have arranged an under-19s tournament.
Bradford Park Avenue's youngsters take on Field FC tomorrow night (7.45pm) and, on Wednesday evening at the same time, Guiseley will be Thackley's opponents in a round-robin format.
The event will near its climax at Dennyfield on Sunday (August 12) when the two sides in the bottom two places of the table will play for third place (ko 1pm).
The top two sides will later contest the final for The Arthur Hylton Trophy (3.30pm).
