Farsley Celtic completed a rewarding pre-season with a 3-1 win over Harrogate Town that will stoke up their confidence ahead of Saturday's bow in the Blue Square Premier.
Damien Reeves netted first after a knock-down from a Scott McNiven cross but Harrogate soon replied through Danny Holland.
In the second half, Reeves turned provider as the Celts retook the lead through Ryan Sugden.
The outstanding McNiven was also involved in Farsley's third goal, sending in a through-ball for Tristram Whitman to net a low drive.
Elsewhere, Thackley beat Sleaford Town 6-3, Nicky Matthews and Phil Holmes both netting twice with Kyle Shah and Joel Etienne adding the others, while Liversedge beat Brighouse Town 4-0 with goals from Luke Caulfield, Luke Sherman, Danny Cooper and Craig Sugden.
Eccleshill United beat Worsbrough Bridge 4-2 at home. Andy Howland, Matt Dempsey, Ryan Wood and Gary Birchill were on target.
