Leeds are becoming a laughing stock, according to Supporters Club chief Ray Fell.

His damning verdict comes after Football League chairman Lord Mawhinney insisted on administrators KPMG restoring a Company Voluntary Agreement with Leeds creditors.

This must happen before the League will consider giving the club permission to play in League One and Fell said: "Sadly, we are becoming a laughing stock.

"What my members want, first and foremost, is more information about what is going on. We feel as though we are being kept in the dark. Above and beyond that, we need someone to sort the club out and take it forward."

United players have still not been paid last month's wages but the PFA believe the payments will be made before the season starts.

Meanwhile, Richard Cresswell today completed his move from Leeds to Stoke. Cresswell cost £1.1million from Preston in August, 2005, but needed three knee operations during his time at Elland Road and has left for an undisclosed fee.
