Thackley went down 3-2 - their third loss by the odd goal in five during pre-season - at Whitkirk Wanderers.
A slow start left them 2-0 down before Declan Corby netted for the visitors.
The east Leeds home side stretched their lead before the interval but Deroy White reduced the arrears in a strong finish from the visitors.
