Bradford Park Avenue 0, Halifax Town 0
Avenue passed up a glorious opportunity to snatch a victory from their friendly meeting with Halifax Town when striker Mike Moseley just failed to convert a last-minute cross.
It would have been harsh on the Blue Square Premier outfit had Avenue grabbed a winner. It was a match that frankly deserved to end in stalemate.
The first half was very much a non-event. Town's keeper Jonathon Hedge was the first to be tested when he saved Danny Meadowcroft's header from an early corner. Joe Brown went closest for the Shaymen in the first period.
Hedge made made another good save to deny Moseley on the hour before Town's former Bantams youngster Danny Forest forced Avenue keeper Jon Worsnop into action.
