BRIGHOUSE Town triumphed 2-0 at Thackley in the Flexible Football West Riding County FA Under-21 Floodlit League.
Town threatened in the opening five minutes when Brad Birkhead's point- blank header well saved by Ollie Wright, and they made the breakthrough when Jack Normanton outpaced the home defence before confidently converting the chance when one-on-one with Wright.
On the hour, Brighouse sealed the points when Adam Dennison's corner found an unmarked Birkhead, who netted with a header.
Thackley are still looking for their first win of the season, while Brighouse jumped four places to tenth.
Town's assistant manager Barry Thomas said: "The first half was even as far as half-chances went, but our defence kept us in the game, and we gradually took control in the second half."
Silsden slumped to a 5-0 defeat at i2i International Academy but remain fifth.
Meanwhile, the Yorkshire Amateur v Campion match was postponed because the Amateur's groundsman wanted to protect the pitch for a first-team match.
Eccleshill United hammered Bradford Park Avenue 6-0 in the Northern Under-19 Alliance League.
The Eagles opened the scoring via Tom Storey's deflected shot, and Kevin Pedro made it 2-0 after a solo run.
After half-time, further goals were scored by Pedro (2), who thus completed his hat-trick, and a brace from Joe Storey, including him picking the ball up at the edge of his penalty area before running 70 yards to score a fine individual goal.
Eccleshill manager Warren Rayner said: "This was our best all-round team performance of the season. I cannot speak too highly of the players".
His Avenue counterpart Alex Meechan said: "It was disappointing, especially after starting the match competitively. My lads have to keep working hard and learn how to show more composure at times with the ball."
