BAILDON Trinity Athletic's West Yorkshire League Cup tie against Hampsthwaite United was abandoned at half-time due to a serious injury to Athletic's Ashley Cooper.
Trinity were leading 2-0, courtesy of goals from an Elliot Moody header from a corner and a tap-in from Ben Craven.
Cooper then suffered a bad break of his tibia and fibula after a challenge with the Hampsthwaite goalkeeper.
The cup tie will be re-arranged for a later date.
Wyke Wanderers Reserves went through to the next round of the League Trophy after a 0-0 draw against Hunslet Club Reserves that went to a penalty shoot-out, which Wyke won 3-2.
With the wind whipping across the pitch, both teams struggled to play any decent football.
Wyke started the game slowly but got more into it as the first half came to an end.
Liam Hartley went close to open the scoring for Wanderers but his shot hit the bar.
Wanderers looked the most likely to score in the second half began, and Waqas Iqbal just failed to convert an opportunity after a great run by Hartley.
Wyke's penalties were scored by Hartley, Hoi-Pin Truong and Cameron Sheridan.
Wanderers secretary Dave Ryan said: “Our back three of Ryan Hurd, Jack Ryan-Wakeling and Gavin Turner were rock solid and we thoroughly deserved our victory, but credit must go to both teams for playing in very difficult conditions."
Field Reserves thumped Headingley Reserves 6-0 to go five points clear at the top of Alliance Division One.
Lewis Forsythe led the way with a hat-trick, with the other goals coming from Jack Webster (2) and Joseph Vickers.
