CITY have snapped up newly-capped Northern Ireland international Shay McCartan.
The 23-year-old forward has signed a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
McCartan, who scored 11 times last season for the League Two club, crosses the Pennines with a reputation as a free-kick specialist. Six of those goals came from set-pieces.
He made his international debut earlier this month against New Zealand as a late substitute.
McCartan becomes Stuart McCall’s fourth signing of the summer - and second in two days after Dominic Poleon - and is another player with plenty of pace.
He came off the bench in both of Accrington's cup wins over City last year - but was stretchered off at Valley Parade after collapsing with a virus.
