BEESTON St Anthony's' goalkeeper pulled off a couple of great point-blank saves as hosts Field were held to a 0-0 draw in the West Yorkshire League Premier Division.
Chances were few and far between but Field's Danny Summers had a couple of great efforts that just went wide of the post.
Field's assistant manager Barry Dunne said: "It was a great game, with both teams playing some good football in an end-to-end contest.
"To say that both teams have played so many matches this season, it was a good advert for amateur football."
Field's penultimate game this season is on Wednesday when they host Hunslet Club at Hollingwood Lane (7.30).
A win will secure a second-placed finish for Field, with only one more match to play on Saturday - at home to champions Carlton Athletic.
Field Reserves have played three matches in a week in Alliance Division One.
Jack Webster was on target for Field but couldn’t prevent his team from losing 3-1 at home to East End Park Reserves.
However, Field restored some pride when they thumped Huddersfield Amateur Reserves 5-2 with goals from Liam Carroll, Rick Craven, Glyn Hirst, Tom Lambert and Connor Wignall.
Fourth-placed Field then lost 3-1 at home to bottom-of-the- table Wyke Wanderers Reserves.
Both teams had chances early on, with Wyke holding out against strong opposition before striking first when Karl Fawcett netted with a header at the far post.
They withstood some more pressure but a defensive mix-up allowed Field to equalise, and they were the better team in the second half but Wanderers battled for every ball and their defenders were on form.
Wyke went ahead when Fawcett scored his second goal of the game and, with ten minutes to go, the same player completed his hat-trick.
Wanderers had Gary Lupton, Craig Sheridan, Michael Stowell and Hoi-Pin Truong all yellow carded, but club secretary Dave Ryan said: “This was a tremendous effort from our team, with Michael Stowelly and Ryan Hurd the pick of our players."
