CITY will give Polish striker Vincent Rabiega a one-year deal, Stuart McCall today revealed.
While the hunt goes on for another frontman, McCall sees Rabiega as potentially one for the future.
The 21-year-old has been on trial with the Bantams on and off since the start of pre-season. He scored twice in a friendly at Park Avenue last month.
McCall said: “At his age we can give him a year and see if we can develop him. He’s not one for the here and now.
“He’s got something and he’s not breaking the bank in any way. It’s no real gamble and we’ll try to help his improvement.”
Rabiega could not be added to the bench at Peterborough this afternoon because City are still waiting for international clearance. McCall was only able to name five substitutes.
