BRIGHOUSE Town Reserves enjoyed a comfortable 3-0 Lancashire League win against Silsden Reserves at the Dual Seal Stadium.
Town now only need a point in the return match at Silsden tonight to be crowned champions.
Tobias Rawcliffe capitalised on a mistake by the Silsden goalkeeper, who dropped the ball at his feet, to open the scoring after only seven minutes. Ash Scully's corner was then met by the head of Jacob Swallow to increase the lead.
The game was finished as a contest in the 82nd minute when Brighouse substitute Jack Normanton netted with a half-volley.
