CAMPION head into a tough test at home to Taylors Timber West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division title favourites Huddersfield YMCA in buoyant mood after a 10-0 midweek win over neighbours Tyersal.
That moved up them into third, just one place behind YMCA, but tomorrow's visitors are six points ahead with three games in hand.
Leaders Lepton Highlanders are four points in front of Huddersfield but have played four games more.
Salts beat Halifax Irish 2-0 in late February and seek to complete the double in the return fixture at West Vale tomorrow. Steeton and Tyersal are also on the road, visiting Golcar United and Lower Hopton respectively.
In Division One, Dewsbury-based Overthorpe SC can secure one of the two promotion spots with a win in their final game of the season at second-placed Honley, who have played one game less and are three points behind.
Third-placed Dram Community Centre, who are at home to Wibsey, are still in the mix while fourth-placed Newsome, who have four games to play starting with a trip to Steeton Reserves, could still go up as champions.
