STEPHEN Darby insists City will not be fooled by Rochdale's indifferent run of form.

The Lancashire side come to Valley Parade tomorrow in 16th having won only twice in eight games - but they were both against top-three opponents.

Darby, who spent a year on loan at Dale earlier in his career, said: "They've shown they are capable of some great results. We know they are a good side on their day.

"Regardless of whether they've slipped up or not, that goes out the window. You need to be on it every week in this league otherwise you'll get punished.

"It was a really good performance at their place, especially second half, and hopefully we can replicate that."

The Bantams are aiming to make it three wins in eight days after seeing off Peterborough and Southend.

Skipper Darby added: "It's important we take confidence from these games but we've also got to keep our feet on the ground.

"The staff and group of players here won't be getting carried away.

"We know the hard work that's gone into getting the last two results and it's going to need more of the same."
