Yorkshire duo Helen Shields and Richard Priestley won titles in the final domestic veterans table tennis tournament of the season in Bristol.
Shields was a late replacement for the injured Sandra Rider in the ladies' 40s doubles and, with Kent's Shu Huang, was crowned national champion after a five-game victory over Shipley Gelder (Durham) and Debbie Auvache (Essex).
Priestley and partner Chris Pickard (Middlesex) were defending their men's 50s doubles title and in the final they beat Gloucester pair Dave Harvey and David Adamson 3-1.
Priestley also had a great run in the 50s singles, bating defending champion Harvey in the quarter-finals before losing to Wayne Percival (Cheshire).
