Jubilant Lee Sinnott hailed his "unique" Farsley Celtic players as they clinched promotion to the non-league top tier.
Two goals in the last four minutes clinched an incredible 4-3 win over Hinckley United in tonight's Conference North play-off final at Burton.
Sinnott savoured promotion to the renamed Blue Square Premier and admitted: "People would have thought get him certified' if I'd said we'd be this far four years ago.
"It's an absolute fairy tale; it's beyond comprehension. But these players are a special group - they are unique."
The Celts trailed 2-1 until late on and then 3-2 before the stunning climax, with Simeon Bambrook slamming home the winner from the penalty spot three minutes from time.
"I cannot remember in my playing career a game that suddenly turned on its head like that," said Sinnott, "We were out with 12 minutes to go. You could slowly see the balloon deflating but somehow it just went up again.
"Hinckley were the better team but we delivered when we had to and I am immensely proud.
"There is euphoria at the moment but we've got to look at what's required next season.
"But as I've been telling the players, we had the chance to make the impossible possible. And we've just done that."
