Everything is riding on Farsley Celtic's final game of the season tonight as they lock horns with Hinckley United in the Conference North play-off final at Burton Albion.
The long wait since beating strongly-tipped Kettering Town over a week ago, in a dramatic penalty shoot-out following draws in both legs of the semi-finals, is over and the outcome of the campaign will be known this evening.
The one-off game must reach a conclusion on the night, with the winner moving into the Conference proper next term. It would be a fantastic achievement for a club like Farsley but they are within touching distance of that prize.
"One of the two teams will win the game and gain promotion and I have no qualms at all about taking on Hinkley, so I believe it could well be us," said Lee Sinnott.
The Celts boss is drawing on his vast knowledge of the game after leading Farsley to a play-off end to their season for a third year on the bounce.
"The players certainly haven't had a lot of time off over the last three years, they have had short summers every time," said Sinnott, who picked up his management skills while playing for the likes of former England manager Graham Taylor and the colourful Neil Warnock.
"It is the 54th game of this season and the 39th week of the campaign, so the players should be fit by now. I have seen the hunger in their eyes this week in training. We have only had light sessions but we have observed the mentality of the players.
"They look ready and I can tell they are looking forward to it. They are here by right because they finished in the top five and put Kettering out of the play-offs, not on a one-off but a two-legger.
"Anything can happen on a one-off but to beat a club with the quality of squad Kettering have is an achievement. We didn't lose either game, so it can't be classed as a fluke result."
The full-timers of Kettering were the bookies' favourites after finishing in the league runners-up spot. They ended the regular season five points behind champions Droylsden and had been expected to go up.
Farsley had other plans and, after putting them out, Sinnott's men now face a one-off at a neutral venue against a club who ended the campaign just a single point better off. Hinckley finished fourth while the Celts claimed the fifth and last play-off place.
"I don't think that will have any bearing on the game because only five points separated the entire play-off zone from second to fifth," said Sinnott.
"Anyone can beat anyone in this division, it is all about how we do on the night rather than who - or even where - we are playing.
"Let's hope we have a good following and that leads to a great atmosphere in the stadium tonight. It is a match that deserves that involvement from the fans of both clubs."
Skipper Carl Serrant remains doubtful but there were no last-minute mishaps during training Saturday lunchtime.
Sinnott said: "We will leave it until the last minute in Carl's case but Martin Pemberton is definitely out. The vibes from the others were very positive."
Former Bantams forward Craig Midgley has left to play in the Australian League this summer and Damian Dunne is also out of the country.
