It has been a busy week at Throstle Nest. Farsley Celtic's ground and training complex has been buzzing with nervous energy and spine-tingling excitement.

The expectations ahead of Monday's Conference North play-off final against Hinckley United has grown steadily.

And any supporters who cannot make the journey to Burton Albion's stadium will not necessarily miss out altogether.

The Farsley clubhouse will be screening the game, which is being broadcast live on Setanta Sport.

"It has been a normal week for me and the players," said Celts boss Lee Sinnott. "Them coming in for training and me wondering who is going to be fit for the game."

One of the main injury doubts is club captain Carl Serrant, who came off in the first half of the second leg play-off semi-final win at Kettering Town.

Other worries are Roy Stamer (heel), Andy Watson (Achilles) and Martin Pemberton (knee).

"We will also be without Craig Midgley and Damian Dunne," added Sinnott. "Midge will be in Australia by then. The plan was always for him to go over there to play through the summer and he has to be there by Monday, otherwise they get someone else in.

"Damian is out of the country also, he has gone on a trip that was organised 12 months ago. The injuries the other lads have got are responding to treatment so we will see if they clear up.

"With no real rain for six weeks or so and the intensity and frequency of the games in the run-in it is understandable. The players are going to pick up these little knocks and strains so it is expected.

"That is why we have a squad of players. I believe it is a good one and we will cope with the task. It is probably the same in the Hinckley camp. They will have had a tough run-in, but it's a one off game and it's more about what we do.

"I have told the players we are going there to do a job, it is a day at work. That is what Neil Warnock said to us when we reached the play-off final at Wembley with Huddersfield. It is a similar scenario - a big game at a big ground with a lot riding on it and the cameras will be there.

"There will be a lot of distractions but there were in our FA Cup run this season, especially in the two games against MK Dons, yet our squad handled it all magnificently.

"The club will be showing it live for the fans who won't be able to travel down and give us their support. It is a Monday evening so there will be people who can't get off work early enough and some who couldn't make the journey in any case.

"There is a lot of interest in the game and I'm sure many of our fans will be able to back us from the terraces but I'm glad the ones who can't will still have the chance to watch us and I hope we give them plenty to cheer."
