Ikley's Gordon J Brand is aiming for a record-equalling third consecutive victory on the European Seniors Tour when he tees off in Turkey on Friday.
The former Ryder Cup player competes in the Gloria Classic in Belek, having won the opening event of the season in Barbados after ending the 2006 campaign by winning the Arcapita Seniors Tour Championship.
Another victory this weekend would see the former Baildon player join Tommy Horton as the only men on the Seniors tour to have triumphed in three consecutive tournaments.
Horton, the most successful player in European Seniors Tour history, won the final three events of the 1997 season.
Brand also won in Spain last year to finish fourth in the Senior Order of Merit and currently leads this season's table with just short of 30,000 Euros.
