A bad third round cost Cookridge Hall's Kiran Matharu a top finish in the first event of her first full season on the Ladies European Tour.
She was in contention in the Tenerife Open after rounds of 71 and 72 but then slipped back with an 82. She ended tied 41st on 13 over par after a final round 76.
Cleckheaton's Georgina Simpson missed the cut with rounds of 76 and 77. The event was won by Australian Nikki Garrett on one under par.
