FARSLEY Celtic have added a tasty friendly to their list of pre-season games after confirming a visit from FC Halifax Town.
The Shaymen, who came up short in their play-off bid in the Conference League last term, will be sending a team to Throstle Nest on Wednesday, July 22 (7.45pm) kick off.
Halifax will be among the bookmakers’ favourites for promotion in the newly-titled National League this coming season, and the Celts' chief executive officer Josh Greaves said: “This is a great game for us.
"It will give the team a good idea of where they will be for the start of the season as they face a Halifax side that will be again looking for promotion into the Football League.”
