JASON Kennedy will make a quick return to Valley Parade when his new club Carlisle face City in pre-season.
The Cumbrians are set to visit West Yorkshire on Saturday, July 25 - it is expected to be the only home friendly as the pitch beds in after the extensive summer repair work.
Kennedy signed a two-year deal with Carlisle after being released by the Bantams. He finished last season at Brunton Park on loan and played a key role in their successful survival fight at the bottom of League Two.
City have already confirmed two pre-season games away to St Mirren the previous Saturday and their traditional visit to Guiseley on Tuesday, July 21.
