AMERICAN goalkeeper Charlie Horton has been described as a “future number one” after Uwe Rosler made him his first signing at Leeds.
The 20-year-old, a USA under-23 international, has arrived at Elland Road on a two-year deal after previously working with keeper coach Richard Hartis at Cardiff.
Horton said: “Any time you can come to a club like Leeds, where all the players are hungry for success, that’s every player’s dream.”
Horton will start in the under-21s to gain experience and Rosler said: “He has fantastic physical attributes and really wants to learn.”
