Farsley Celtic manager Neil Parsley will be stepping up his recruitment drive following the departure of Gibraltar international Adam Priestley and defender Mikey Aspin.
Priestley will be joining Shaw Lane Aquaforce after the ambitious club won promotion to the Evo-Stik League.
However, he will not be lining up against his former club in a league game as Shaw Lane will be in the First Division South.
Parsley had wanted another striker at the club last season to share the load with Priestley and Aidan Savory. The boss will now have to draft in two front men.
Aspin, who returned to Farsley for a second spell after a stint playing in Austrailia, is looking for another club closer to his home in Lancashire.
Both players took to social media to praise Farsley, with Priestley saying: “Just want to say a massive thank you to everyone involved with Farsley AFC. I’ve had an amazing three years and I’ll always look for your results.”
Aspin said: “It’s a top football club full of fantastic people and I’ll look forward to facing you next season. Sad to go.”
