TOP scorer Danny Facey was named as Albion Sports’ players’ player of the year at their presentation evening at The Three Singhs.
James Frith picked up the manager’s player of the year award, while club captain Asif Hussain was the supporters’ choice. The clubman of the year prize went to Levi Maturine.
Albion boss Kulwinder Sandhu said: “We are still very close with Farsley, and their president John Palmer came to present the awards for us.
“He gave a speech in which he said he had watched us this season and we had done well. He said some really nice things about our club and the football we played, which was very good of him.
“I thought we had done okay because it was a very difficult division last year. Even so we had some good games against the top teams and only just lost out in some of them when we weren’t quite at full strength.”
