BRACKEN Ghyll made the most of home advantage to claim first place in qualifying for the Bradford Union Team Championship.
With seven places up for grabs in the main event at Bradford on July 26, local knowledge paid off for the Addingham club as they won the four-man team competition by 13 shots.
Peter Rishworth led the way for them with a round of 70 in the hosts’ aggregate score of 291.
Baildon claimed the runners-up spot as Andy Couzens shone with a 69, while Rob Malloy carded the best individual score, his 68 helping Northcliffe claim third place.
Clayton, The Manor, Rawdon and Ghyll were the other clubs to gain qualification.
