IT MAY not be long since Guiseley defeated Chorley in dramatic circumstances at Victory Park in their Vanarama Conference North play-off final but the Lions are already underway with their planning for next season.
The new National League club have announced three pre-season friendlies to date.
Mark Bower's men, who will be locking horns with the likes of Tranmere Rovers, Wrexham and Torquay United in the league next season, will warm up against Championship neighbours Huddersfield Town and League One outfit Barnsley.
Both these Football League clubs will visit Nethermoor – Barnsley on Tuesday, July 14 and Huddersfield Town on Saturday, July 18.
Guiseley then visit Curzon Ashton on Saturday, August 1 a week before their new season gets underway.
Curzon are also newly promoted as they won the Evo-Stik League Premier Division play-off final to join FC United of Manchester in National North, the division Guiseley have left behind.
