BAILDON Trinity Athletic lost 2-0 to Ilkley Town in the Wharfedale FA Cup final in front of a large crowd at Nethermoor, the home of Guiseley.
The West Yorkshire League side went close to open the scoring when Ben Craven saw his shot go across the face of the goal and instead it was Ilkley who went ahead after ten minutes following a defensive mix-up.
Higher-ranked Ilkley doubled their lead in the 70th minute with a superb chip over keeper Lamb, who had made two fine saves earlier in the half.
Meanwhile, league action saw Ben Baker, Callum Robinson and Chris Waters score for Field Reserves during a 3-0 win against Oxenhope Recreation Reserves in Alliance Division One.
