LIVERSEDGE manager Alan Colquhoun has left his post but he will still be in and around Clayborn.
Club secretary Brian Oakes confirmed that Colquhoun is no longer the manager, saying, “Alan has left his role with the first team but he has offered his services as a committee man.
“Alan has got a lot on, especially next year, and he just can’t stretch himself. He was a little disappointed about the way the season went – we all were – but that had no bearing on his decision whatsoever.
“He is a super lad and he will be a much-needed addition to the committee. We are having a meeting later this week and there is someone in mind, so we won’t be advertising the position.”
The club hope to make an appointment in quick time so that preparations for next season are not affected.
Sedge finished fourth from bottom in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division but were 13 points above the relegation trapdoor.
