BRADFORD City wrap up another highly successful season under head coach Steve Winterburn this weekend.
The first team take on FA Women's Premier League (North) leaders Coventry City at Thackley tomorrow (2.00).
Although City look set for a fourth-place finish, this final game could have a huge impact on the eventual destination of the championship. Coventry lead the table by three points, having played a game more than second-placed Sheffield, so they desperately need a victory and to reduce their current four-goal advantage.
City's games against the top three have been closely contested this season but their points tally from these games has been disappointing and is a major factor in their final position, but coach Winterburn is determined to see his side finish in style.
The reserves, who play Leeds United at Knaresborough Town in their final game tomorrow, missed out on the double when they lost 1-0 to Sheffield in the Reserve League Cup final but they still walked away with a trophy after being presented with the League Championship.
On Monday, City A are at Ossett Town's Ing Field ground, where they will face First Division Altofts in the final of the West Riding Women's League Shield (11.00), looking to add that to the Second Division trophy they have already won.
Next season, City will be joined in the Premier League's Northern Section by neighbours Guiseley after an incredible last-minute injury-time goal by Shelbey Morris gave Leeds a surprise win over title favourites Liverpool Marshalls Feds in the last game of the season.
Guiseley, having finished their fixtures a point ahead at the top, had an anxious wait for the result of this game but third-placed Leeds didn't disappoint them, leaving manager John Shirt and his coach Julie Grundy to celebrate a remarkable rise since teaming up three years ago.
