Potential City buyer Gianni Paladini
CITY’S takeover talks have intensified after the club agreed to extend Gianni Paladini’s exclusivity period, the Telegraph & Argus understands.
The deadline was believed to run out today but it is understood that the Italian has been granted another two weeks to push forward his attempt to buy the club.
City's apparent agreement for more time suggests that progress is being made. It also means they cannot listen to any of the rival interest that has come forward since Paladini made his move.
