LIVERSEDGE go into their final game of the season tomorrow looking for a positive result to take their recent momentum into the close season and come back stronger next term.
Alan Colquhoun's men are fourth from bottom in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League as they head to Athersley Recreation.
Sedge are a healthy 13 points clear of the Premier Division drop zone and on an unbeaten three-match run, while their hosts are just four places higher and have suffered two consecutive home defeats.
An added incentive for Sedge is that they would finish one place higher with a win as they trail 17th-placed Armthorpe Welfare, who have completed their fixtures, by just three points but have a much better goal difference.
