BRIGHOUSE Town Reserves drew 2-2 with Albion Sports Reserves in an entertaining Lancashire League match.
Albion opened the scoring with a cracking goal by debutant Adam Turner but Brighouse equalised before half-time through trialist Tom Robinson's superb 25-yard volley.
Callum Lewis put Brighouse ahead again in the 52nd minute but ten minutes later Anil Singh grabbed an equaliser.
In the return match, Brighouse ran out 2-1 winners with a superb 30-yard Rhys Thomas shot and Lamin Janneh goal.
These results mean that Brighouse will end the season as runners-up behind Emley.
Eccleshill United Reserves drew 0-0 against Ossett Town Reserves, while Eccleshill Leeds came from a goal down to win 3-1 at Harrogate Railway Reserves with goals from Daniel Man (2) and Donovan Price.
A Tom Baker penalty proved to be a consolation for Eccleshill United in their 3-1 defeat against Pickering Town in the Northern Under-19 Alliance League.
Field beat Liversedge 2-0 with both goals from Jack Webster – a result that ended any hopes of Sedge being crowned champions.
