JOE Sagar was the hero for Wyke Wanderers Reserves in the West Yorkshire League.
He scored the last-minute winner in Wanderers' final Alliance Division Two game of the season to keep alive their promotion chances.
Their victims were top-of-the-table Horbury Town Reserves as outstanding performances came from Wyke central defenders Liam Guiry and Stephen Brook as well as midfielder Gary Lupton.
Field travelled to Leeds City – their only rivals for the Premier Division title – and came away with a 1-1 draw.
The hosts, who are ten points behind with three games in hand, played well in the first half and deservedly went ahead, before Field dominated the second period and deservedly equalised through Chris Wood.
Curtis McMahon nearly grabbed the winner for Field when his effort hit the bar but a draw was fair enough.
In Division One, third-placed Wyke Wanderers drew 0-0 with Ilkley Town, who are fourth.
Wyke edged a tight first half but Karl Fawcett and Ian Horrocks had chances to put them ahead in the second period before the impressive Aidan Day had a shot well saved.
Wanderers full back Carter Russon also had a fierce shot kept out before Ilkley nearly opened the scoring but Ben Sharp saved the one-on-one.
Field Reserves had Ben Baker, Luke Phillips and Joseph Vickers on target in their 3-3 draw against Wetherby Athletic Reserves in Alliance Division One.
