GUISELEY boss Mark Bower is targeting two wins in four days as his team bid to nail down a play-off spot.
The Lions lie fifth and in the final Vanarama Conference North play-off position heading into tomorrow's home clash with third-placed Chorley.
Guiseley also have a game in hand to play, when mid-table North Ferriby United visit Nethermoor on Tuesday, and victory in both fixtures would seal a coveted play-off berth.
"We know that if we get two wins in these next two games then we are guaranteed a place in the play-offs," said Bower.
"It's a big few days for us and we're looking forward to two tough games against two really good sides.
"It's in our hands – and I prefer it that way because these are the type of games you want to be involved in at this time of year.
"The lads have thrived under this kind of pressure before and hopefully we can do it again.
"At tea-time on Saturday, we could be third in the league or we could be sixth. That's how tight it is."
Guiseley lost 1-0 at Chorley just over a fortnight ago and will face a stern test against a North Ferriby outfit who beat Wrexham in the FA Trophy at Wembley last month.
"Chorley have obviously got similar ambitions to ourselves in terms of trying to cement a play-off position," said Bower.
"We played them recently and it was a closely-fought encounter which we were probably unlucky to have lost. Hopefully we can put that right tomorrow
"But North Ferriby winning the FA Trophy – beating a full-time team in extra time at Wembley – was a remarkable achievement. They played some really good football as well, which showed what a good side they are.
"Although their season is over in terms of getting into the play-offs, they will have players playing for contracts and for next season. We need to make sure we are properly prepared for them."
Danny Ellis and Alex Johnson have trained this week and should come into contention for the Chorley match.
Bower said: "We probably have the strongest squad available to us for a while."
