THACKLEY have just two games of their Toolstation Northern Counties East League season remaining and have the 50-point mark in their sights.
They host Parkgate in a Premier Division mid-table battle tomorrow and a win in their final home game would take them to the brink of the milestone.
After a difficult first half of the campaign, the Dennyboys have done well to reach 46 points and respectability.
They cannot finish higher than their current 12th position but gaining just four more points would take them into the summer break in a positive mood.
LIVERSEDGE have three games left, including this weekend's trip to Staveley MW, and even though they have toiled and are third from bottom, they have been safe from relegation for a while.
Staveley have four games remaining and are looking up from their ninth spot.
Sedge's only motivation is to try and claw themselves above fourth-bottom Armthorpe Welfare, who are three points better off but have played a game more.
ALBION SPORTS, one position but ten points better off than Thackley, are without a game this weekend.
In Division One, mid-table ECCLESHILL UNITED head to fourth-placed Hemsworth MW, who still have a chance of promotion.
The Eagles' hosts have 12 points left to play for and are currently five outside the promotion places.
