Wyke Wanderers survived a nervy last ten minutes to triumph
WYKE Wanderers Reserves won 2-1 at Howden Clough Reserves in West Yorkshire League Alliance Division Two.
Wanderers opened the scoring when Joe Sagar lost his marker from a through ball and calmly slipped the ball past the goalkeeper.
Wyke continued to press and made it 2-0 when Hoi-Pin Truong scored from close range but Howden pulled a goal back to make it a nervy last ten minutes.
In Alliance Division One, Field Reserves lost 5-0 at Hunslet Club Reserves.
