WELL, it's the first big derby of the season against Halifax and it should be a great occasion.
I thought I was going to be playing tonight but it looks like Danny Williams might be on the wing instead.
He's had a hamstring problem and I'm effectively on stand-by, so if Danny doesn't make it then I'll get the nod.
I just need to be ready to take my chance as and when it comes.
I'll be honest, I can't wait to get out there and play.
As I've said before, competition for places in our squad is so fierce.
Adam Henry has come in and taken his chance really well.
I got injured and the boys are playing really well, so I can't do anything about that.
I just need to keep fighting to regain my spot because I am fully fit and raring to go.
Not playing just makes me more determined to prove myself when I get the chance.
If it's not tonight against Halifax, then it could be at Dewsbury on Monday.
The boys are excited for two big local derbies and it would be fantastic to get two wins.
The fact we're playing again on Monday means I'm not too worried if I miss out tonight.
I could play at Dewsbury and I'm hoping it's as a centre.
I would love to be given an opportunity there because I've not even had a chance yet to play there.
Wherever Jimmy wants to play I will obviously play, but getting a run at centre would be great for me.
If looks like it will be Chris Ulugia will be one wing tonight and maybe Danny Williams on the other.
But with two games in four days, there is a good chance I will be called upon at some point.
If I am, then I will be ready.
