DONCASTER have no excuses for not being well prepared for City's visit to the Keepmoat tonight.
Rovers are well rested, having not played for nearly a fortnight after last week's scheduled trip to MK Dons was postponed because of international call-ups.
That blank Saturday allowed Paul Dickov to head to Valley Parade for a spying mission and he was there again to watch City on Tuesday.
"We will be doing everything in our power to make sure we are fully prepared for the Bradford game," said Dickov, whose side also face Sheffield United over the Easter period.
Doncaster, like so many others in League One, have fluctuated up and down the table. They powered from 17th to six in mid-February after losing only one game in 11 but now sit a point behind the tenth-placed Bantams.
Dickov said: "The focus for us has to be tonight. We cannot affect what other teams do. It is a crazy league but all we can do is get our own house in order."
Doncaster came from behind to win their last outing 3-1 at struggling Coventry and the unexpected break has given them a further benefit, allowing influential midfielder James Coppinger time for his injured ankle to mend.
Rovers are not so hopeful on Paul Keegan's return from a knee injury before the end of the season. His absence has allowed former City loanee Dean Furman to step up in the midfield holding role.
Dickov has not ruled out Keegan featuring again, especially if Doncaster do make the play-offs. But he has been impressed with the efforts of Furman, who played 33 games for Stuart McCall's side in the 2008-09 season.
The Rovers boss said: "Dean was outstanding again in the middle of the park at Coventry. He has come in and worked really well in a two with Richie Wellens.
"Richie ran everything with the ball, while Dean did all the dirty stuff."
It will be City's first league visit to the Keepmoat. Their only previous appearance at Doncaster's home since 2007 was a Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie that year.
City were thumped 5-1 and McCall paid the £5,000 fine himself for fielding a weakened team.
