BRADFORD City continue their push for a third-place finish in the FA Premier League North with a home game against bottom club Wolves on Sunday.
With Tuesday's West Riding County Cup final against North East Regional League side Farsley at Woodlesford looming, City will be anxious to get a good result after last week's disappointing 2-2 draw with Newcastle. Charlotte Stuart and Molly Sharpe were their scorers.
In the Reserve Division the loss of Mansfield Town has led to a readjustment of the tables and just three points now separate the top three teams. Leaders Newcastle entertain Leeds tomorrow and third-placed City take on Sheffield, who are second, at Eccleshill.
Goals from Rachel Lee, Tanya Rich, Abi Barker, Choe Pennisi and Zoe Roberts secured a 5-1 win over Huddersfield Town for City in their last game.
The City A team secured a place in the West Riding League Shield final for the second-successive year when they overcame Premier Division opponents Brighouse Athletic 2-0. Goals from Vanessa Holroyd and Ami Nolan set up a final showdown with Altofts.
Tomorrow the A team, with one point behind leaders Battyeford with two games in hand, tackle second-bottom Dewsbury Rangers.
Ossett Town moved closer to the Premier Division title when they beat Bradford Park Avenue 4-3 at the 4G Voice and Data Stadium. Sophie Mitchell (2), and Megan Medley were the Avenue scorers. The Bradford side face Harrogate Railway tomorrow.
Brighouse Town still have an outside chance of winning the North East Regional League. They take on second-placed Barnsley tomorrow.
