CITY defender Alan Sheehan has today joined League One rivals Peterborough on loan for the rest of the season.
But Phil Parkinson has brought in Blackpool skipper Tony McMahon ahead of the emergency deadline.
Left back Sheehan has made 28 appearances for the Bantams this camapign, including 19 starts, since joining from Notts County last summer.
But he has fallen behind James Meredith in the pecking order and will join Posh hoping for more game time.
McMahon has played 33 times for the doomed Championship club and becomes the third Blackpool player currently on loan at Valley Parade along with Francois Zoko and Gary MacKenzie.
Predominantly a right back, the 29-year-old former Middlesbrough and Sheffield United defender can play along the back four as well as in midfield.
