SILSDEN host West Didsbury & Chorlton in the North West Counties Premier Division on Saturday and will be looking to get a psychological advantage before the return game next week.
The Cobbydalers climbed back into tenth place with last weekend’s narrow 1-0 victory over AFC Liverpool.
Silsden's joint manager Danny Bolton said: “It was a tight game against Liverpool but we were very pleased with the performance.
"It was a good test because we dominated for long spells in which Craig Nicholls and Chris Wademan looked a threat. We also had to quell lots of attacks and we held firm. We’re in good form and looking forward to the rest of the season.”
