Farsley’s dreams of a play off finish in the Evo-Stik First Division North are in tatters after a third defeat in five games tonight.
The Villagers were beaten 2-1 at Mossley after taking a first-half lead. Aiden Savory put them in front just before the break but the Lancashire outfit hit back, with a penalty from Poyra Ahmadi and Thomas Platt’s 77th minute winner, to stay above their visitors.
Brighouse Town earned a point from their trip to Droylsden but it could have been so much more. Town’s Tom Matthews twice hit the bar while Leon Henry and Issac Baldwin both had efforts cleared off the line.
Thackley suffered a 2-0 home defeat in the Toolstation Northern Counties East Premier Division. Both of Barton Town’s goals came in the first half through Sam Belcher and a Scott Phillips penalty.
