WYKE Wanderers climbed to second place in Division One after a 3-0 success at Altofts in the West Yorkshire League.
The visitors made a great start when Ben Bodle caused havoc down the left wing in the fifth minute before cutting inside and driving a low shot into the net.
Bodle's 35th-minute corner provided the second goal. Aidan Day met it and, although his effort was saved, James Gilmartin headed home the rebound.
Day's great solo run then put Wyke three ahead – and the margin would have been greater were it not for Ian Horrocks being denied three times by smart goalkeeping.
Baildon Trinity Athletic drew their top-of-the-table clash with Ossett Common Rovers 1-1 in Division Two.
Ossett took the lead after only five minutes with an unchallenged header from a corner and Baildon were initially thwarted in their attempts to equalise when the visiting keeper repeatedly saved from hard-working strikers Ben Craven and Andrew Radosevic.
A Craven shot also smashed against the bar but his efforts were finally rewarded when he headed the equaliser before half-time.
After that, both Baildon goalkeeper John Lamb and man of the match Elliott Moody prevented Ossett from scoring again.
Baildon manager Carl Dalton said: "This was two dropped points but, with seven matches to play, we still have a great chance of finishing in the top three and securing promotion."
Mid-table Field Reserves lost 4-0 at Robin Hood Athletic Reserves in Alliance Division One, while Wyke Wanderers Reserves beat Middleton Park Reserves 5-2 in Alliance Division Two.
Middleton went ahead against the run of play with their first shot on goal but Wanderers levelled through Joe Sagar and went 2-1 ahead through Gary Lupton.
Wyke started the second half well and, within a 15-minute spell, scored goals from Simon Fagin, Cameron Day and Sagar to end the game as a contest. Middleton got a consolation in the dying moments.
Baildon Trinity Athletic Reserves travelled to Alliance Division Two second-placed team Ripon City Reserves with only 11 players and an injured goalkeeper, so did well to only lose 3-2 but after taking a 2-0 lead.
The visitors moved in front when Ian Webb spotted the goalkeeper off his line and, with the outside of his foot, chipped him from 25 yards.
Baildon man of the match Harry Bates then cleared the ball off the line and, in the second half, Steve Boult chipped the Ripon goalkeeper and although a defender cleared it off the line, Michael Haran scored from the rebound.
With 20 minutes to go, Ripon made it 2-1 and, as tiredness set in, Baildon's concentration levels dropped and they could not hold on, with the hosts making it 2-2 and, with five minutes to go, getting the winner.
Field had no fixture in the Premier Division due to the West Yorkshire League's match at the Wearside League in the FA Inter-League Cup, which they won 3-1.
