THACKLEY and Albion Sports meet in aToolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division derby at Dennyfield on Saturday.
The Dennyboys are six points and one position behind their 11th-place neighbours who beat them 4-0 at Throstle Nest earlier this season.
Former Thackley centre back James Firth opened the scoring for Albion that day, with Alex Cusack, Karl Hall and Danny Facey also on target.
Liversedge, boosted by their 1-0 win at Shaw Lane Aquaforce on Tuesday, face a stern test as they host high-flying Bridlington Town.
Eccleshill United are also on a high in Division One after back-to-back victories in which skipper Charlie Flaherty netted all four of the Eagles’ goals. They will be tested as they make the short journey to face leaders AFC Emley.
